City’s Human Settlements Roadshow visits Kensington today

The City’s Human Settlements Roadshow is making its way across the metro, starting with Kensington today and Philippi next week. Officials will be assisting residents with their human settlements enquiries over the coming weeks and months as the City visits various areas as part of this initiative.
Over the next few weeks, residents from Philippi, Gugulethu, Crossroads and Mamre will have the opportunity to engage directly with City Human Settlements staff members. More areas across the metro are being added to the roadshow calendar and will be communicated to residents soon. In the past few weeks, the roadshow made its way to Kuils River, Langa, Morningstar and Westlake.
'We are excited to continue our roadshow and visit residents in many more areas over the next few weeks. Direct engagement with community members is one of my priorities and I am looking forward to building trust with our residents. Our team is ready to assist residents and we encourage all interested Capetonians to reach out to us.
'I have worked extensively with the policies of this directorate during the almost five years I have served on the Portfolio Committee and am now excited to work directly with communities. That is the type of delivery that makes a very real difference and we will continue to do our very best to ensure we deliver to the people who need it the most,' said Mayoral Committee Member for Human Settlements, Councillor Carl Pophaim.

- Title Deeds (New and Historical)
- C3 Notifications
- Specific projects
- Housing Needs Register applications
- Tenancy management
- Affordable housing enquiries
- Informal settlement queries
